A Novel Logo-Inspired Chaotic Random Number Generator

This paper proposes a novel yet simple pseudo-random number generation technique using a sequence of one-dimensional discrete chaotic maps and a logo image. The core idea is to generate a sequence of real numbers between zero and one by combining the sequences generated by chaotic maps and a logo image, defining a relation between the two. This combination has generated numbers showing good sensitivity even to slight changes in the underlying keys. To evaluate the proposed generator, a set of statistical and security analyses are considered to demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed generator.
