Abstract
The switched boost inverters (SBIs) are single stage inverter topologies which can boost the output ac voltage unlike the traditional voltage source inverters. The SBIs are used to feed ac and dc loads. The performance of SBIs is degraded due to parametric uncertainties or some unknown disturbances. The integral sliding mode control (ISMC) is proposed to mitigate the matched uncertainties such as the disturbances from input channel and measurement uncertainties. The proposed control improves the dynamic response of the SBI in case of some disturbance. The proposed control law is added with the dual loop control law to obtain the shoot through duty cycle. The proposed control is verified to mitigate disturbances in- shoot through duty cycle, disturbance in voltage measurement and current measurement, through simulation.
