Abstract
This research work aims to present a Stockwell transform based technique for the investigation of the power quality disturbances associated with solar PV system integrated with the utility grid due to the operational events such as switching on and off the capacitor banks, switching on and off the loads, tripping and reclosing the feeders. The power quality disturbances associated with the considered events has been investigated and effectively detected with the help of proposed algorithm using the various S-transform based plots. The detailed simulation study of power quality disturbances has been carried out in MATLAB/Simulink environment using the IEEE-13 bus test system incorporated with the solar PV system.
