Abstract
It is necessary to do an extensive study on membranes, their modes of transportation, and the material properties of their membranes to address the governing principles and vague issues of membrane processes. It is the key to unlocking understanding. Simulations of molecular dynamics (MD) allow the investigation of the molecular static and dynamic characteristics of membrane separation systems. The study intends to emphasize the benefits of using molecular dynamics in membranes (MDM) to improve our understanding of the treatment of water using membrane-based techniques; both the theoretical underpinnings of traditional MD and the outcomes that may be obtained via MDM simulations are discussed. The continued application of MDM in potential study fields relevant to water that is filtered by membrane treatment procedures is combined in this chapter.
